Match for Hope 2025: Date, start time and how to watch for free as football legends including Andres Iniesta and Thierry Henry feature for charity clash between KSI and IShowSpeed

Some of football’s biggest names will be making their valiant return to the pitch in Qatar this evening as Match for Hope returns for a second consecutive year. 

Andres Iniesta, Andrea Pirlo and Thierry Henry are among the standout out names involved in this year’s charity clash, with former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and current U.S. men’s national team coach Mauricio Pochettino taking charge of the two dressing rooms.

Social media influencers KSI and IShowSpeed have been selected to captain the two teams this year which features a mix of football legends, influencers and celebrities.

Last year’s tournament was a massive success as around 22 million people tuned in to watch the charity game, with £7m being raised for children in schools in Palestine, Sudan, Mali, Rwanda, Tanzania and Pakistan.

British YouTuber and influencer Chunkz captained his side to a 7-5 win over Team Aboflah to claim the maiden title back in 2024.

What time is Match for Hope? 

This year’s Match for Hope is set to kick off at 5pm UK time.

The second installment of the overwhelming successful charity game is being held at the 974 stadium in Doha, Qatar.

The stadium was constructed ahead of the 2022 FIFA Men’s World Cup was was built using shipping containers and has an impressive capacity of 44,000. 

Where can I watch Match for Hope 2025?

For UK fans hoping to watch the game this evening, last year’s winning captain Chunkz will be live streaming the game on his YouTube channel for free.

Elsewhere the game can be watched in Arabic in AlKass on TV, with BeIN Sports also providing coverage of the game in both English and Arabic.
