Ronaldo Nazario didn’t hold back when he was a player, and he doesn’t do so now as a current soccer commentator and president of Real Valladolid.
The Brazilian striker sat down to chat with Romario, another legend of Brazilian soccer, about anecdotes that had happened to both of them in the past.
Who Is the Worst Player Ronaldo Nazario Has Played With?
Amid laughter, Ronaldo Nazario wanted to recall the worst player he played with during his sports career. It was at Real Madrid, and many fans of the Madrid club will remember him perfectly.
“Thomas Gravesen was a really great guy, good people. Not long ago, he won a poker tournament of 50 million dollars or something like that. But in soccer, he was very bad, he tackled hard and hit hard,” commented Ronaldo Nazario.

“It was a joke,” explained the former striker himself after making the aforementioned comment that brought a smile to Romario.
Meanwhile, in his personal podium, Ronaldo Nazario is very clear about who his favorite players are. “The best were Ronaldinho Gaucho, in the national team, and Zidane, at club level. ‘Zizou’ had a lot of class, he was different, very technical, he made everything look easy,” he explained.
Ronaldo Nazario was fortunate to play and be joined by great footballers throughout his career. However, he is very clear that his favorite at club level was Zinedine Zidane. The Frenchman marked a glorious era, leaving actions that Madrid fans will never forget.
Another ‘Dig’ at a Former Teammate
Finally, Ronaldo Nazario mentioned another footballer from the Brazilian National Team that he didn’t seem to like too much either.
Ronaldo Nazario confessed that the “least technically gifted” player he had shared a locker room with was Amaral. The Brazilian was a defensive midfielder who managed to accumulate up to 10 international caps between 1995 and 1996.

“He ran a lot, but he recovered 10 balls and lost nine,” he joked in the presence of a Romario who couldn’t stop laughing.
The Brazilian, who had to retire early due to constant injuries, marked an era with the Real Madrid jersey and in soccer in general.
