The former Brazilian international Ronaldo (Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima ) has identified Thomas Gravesen as the worst footballer he ever played with in an interview with his former Brazilian team-mate Romario published by Spanish media “Marca”.
In his active career, the former Danish midfielder played alongside Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham and Wayne Rooney, among others and Gravesen has previously spoken of his admiration for the Brazilian star-striker who during his career played for prestigious clubs like PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
However, Ronaldo obviously doesn’t hold Gravesen in the same high regard as a footballer and when he is asked to identify the worst player he ever played with Ronaldo has the following response:
“The worst player I ever played with? Gravesen. A Danish midfielder. He was a really great guy. Not long ago he won a $50 million poker tournament or something like that. But at football he was very bad, he was a real hard-hitter. It was a joke”, says the Brazilian phenomenon.
Thomas Gravesen managed to play 29 games with Ronaldo during his short stay in the Spanish capital.
Gravesen in total played 34 matches for Real Madrid from 2005 to 2006 and scored one goal.
